VC 007
Annual Catalogue

The seventh edition of the VC catalogue, VC 007, invites readers to explore a yearly retrospective of contemporary art, highlighting a diverse range of artists from both international and local contexts. Featured names include birdman Hans Langner, OtGO (Otgonbayar Ershuu), Rebecca Bonaci, Cyril Sancereau, and Sergio Muscat.

Through collective exhibitions such as Art From Else Where: DEEP THROAT - featuring works by artists including Andreas Blank, Duška Malešević, Shahar Marcus, Gabriel Doucet Donida, Margret Eicher, and Nina E. Schönefeld - and OPUS THEY, a pop-up exhibition showcasing the work of Raphael Vella, Chris Briffa, Michael Quinton, and Marcon Borg, the catalogue sensitively illustrates the 2025 exhibition programme.

This publication reflects the Gallery’s long-term goal to meticulously record its artistic visions for future reference. With the inclusion of interviews by Ann Dingli, the publication delves deeper into the conceptualisation of each exhibition and the artists’ ways of working.

This collection serves as a companion for those interested in the collaborative and global fabric of contemporary art, narrating the complexities of diverse cultural and artistic expressions.
